Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions together with any programme-specific terms.
• "Promptly" / "we" / "us" / "our" refers to the operator of the website and programmes at Lot 4-12, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Jalan Damanlela, 50490 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• "Participant" / "you" refers to any individual who accesses the website or enrols in a programme.
• "Programme" refers to any cohort offered by Promptly, including Working with Open Models, Engineering Practice for AI Projects, and the Full Developer Programme.
• "Materials" refers to written guides, assignments, and related content provided as part of a programme.
• "Portfolio Output" refers to the code repository and documentation produced by the participant during a programme.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, completing enrolment, or accessing programme materials, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
• You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not enrol in or access any Promptly programme.

3. Service Description

Promptly provides online cohort-based programmes for AI development. Each programme runs on a defined schedule with written materials, project assignments, and written code review from instructors.

Programmes are delivered in English and are available to participants globally, subject to payment processing constraints. Core activities are asynchronous; review sessions and office hours may have scheduled time windows.

Promptly reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a cohort intake with reasonable notice. In the event of cancellation before commencement, enrolled participants will be offered a transfer to the next available intake or a refund of fees paid.

4. Enrolment and Account Access

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or agreed instalment arrangement) and written confirmation from Promptly. Access to programme materials is provided prior to the cohort start date.

Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under their account. Promptly must be notified promptly of any unauthorised use.

5. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

• Submit original work for all assignments. Using another person's code or AI-generated code as your own submission without disclosure is not permitted.
• Engage with the cohort schedule in good faith, including submitting assignments within the defined windows.
• Treat instructors and, where applicable, other participants, with respect in all communications.
• Not share programme materials, assignment briefs, or review feedback with persons outside the cohort without written permission from Promptly.

Prohibited: Attempting to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any Promptly course materials; using programme infrastructure for activities unrelated to the cohort; misrepresenting your identity or background during enrolment.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, written guides, assignment briefs, and Promptly branding remain the intellectual property of Promptly. Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use programme materials for their own learning during the cohort.

Participants retain full ownership of the code, documentation, and portfolio output they produce during the programme. Promptly does not claim any rights over participant-produced work. Promptly may, with written consent, reference anonymised completion statistics.

7. Payment Terms

All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are payable in full prior to cohort commencement unless an instalment arrangement has been agreed in writing.

• Working with Open Models: RM 500 per enrolment.
• Engineering Practice for AI Projects: RM 1,720 per enrolment.
• Full Developer Programme: RM 4,420 per enrolment.

Refund policy: Withdrawal requests received more than 7 days before the cohort start date are eligible for a full refund minus any transaction fees. Requests received within 7 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to the next available intake of the same programme, subject to availability.

No refund is available after programme commencement. In the event Promptly cancels a cohort, a full refund will be issued.

8. Programme-Specific Terms

Prerequisites: Participants agree to meet the stated prerequisites before enrolment. Promptly reserves the right to decline enrolment or defer a participant to a more suitable track if prerequisites are clearly unmet.

Completion documentation: A record of programme completion is issued on request to participants who submit all required assignments within the cohort window. Completion documentation records what was completed — it is not a qualification, certificate, or credential recognised by any regulatory body.

Employment outcomes: Promptly makes no representations regarding employment outcomes following programme completion. The programme documents participant work. Promptly does not provide placement services.

9. Disclaimers

Programme materials and instruction are provided in good faith but on an "as is" basis. Promptly does not warrant that:

• Any specific learning outcomes will be achieved.
• Open-source tools referenced in the curriculum will remain maintained or available.
• Completion of a programme will lead to employment, promotion, or any other career outcome.

References to open-source libraries, model providers, or third-party tools are for educational purposes. Promptly has no commercial relationship with those providers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Promptly's total liability for any claim arising from or related to a programme enrolment shall not exceed the fees paid by the participant for that programme.

Promptly is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of income, data, or opportunity, arising from participation in or inability to participate in a programme.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Promptly harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your use of programme materials in an unauthorised way, or any misrepresentation made during enrolment.

12. Termination

Promptly may terminate a participant's access to programme materials without refund in cases of material breach of these Terms, including but not limited to: submission of plagiarised work, misuse of programme infrastructure, or conduct that disrupts cohort operations.

Participants may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy in Section 7. Withdrawal does not affect obligations incurred prior to withdrawal.

13. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall first be raised informally with Promptly at [email protected]. We will endeavour to resolve disputes within 21 days.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Malaysia, with the courts of Kuala Lumpur having non-exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the programme description at enrolment, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
• Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: Participants may not transfer enrolment to another individual without written consent from Promptly.
• Notices: Formal notices under this Agreement should be sent to [email protected].

15. Changes to These Terms

Promptly may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued enrolment in or access to a programme after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
