Why Promptly

Project-based structure

Each cohort runs through real assignment cycles — not passive video lectures. Participants write, submit, and receive structured code review.

Open-source focus

All coursework uses widely available open-source models and tooling. No proprietary black boxes — participants see what they are working with.

Portfolio at the end

Every programme produces a documented output — a portfolio repository or capstone project that participants own and can share.

Code review included

Assignments are reviewed by instructors, not just auto-graded. Participants receive written feedback on their submissions.

Part-time compatible

Programmes are structured for working adults. The weekly workload is defined upfront so participants can plan around existing commitments.

Transparent scope

Each programme page states exactly what participants will cover, what they submit, and what they walk away with. No hidden requirements or vague outcomes.

Three cohort tracks available — from a five-week introduction to a thirty-two week programme. Each one is structured, assessed, and portfolio-driven.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes for?
The entry-level cohort (Working with Open Models) is for participants who can write basic Python and want to understand how open-source AI models work in practice. The two longer tracks require working Python skills and some prior development experience. None of the programmes require AI background before joining.
How do cohorts run — are sessions live or recorded?
Cohorts run on a weekly schedule with a mix of reading material, assignments, and scheduled review sessions. Participants complete work at their own pace within each week's window, then submit for review. Recorded materials support the written guides but assignments are the core of the learning structure.
What is the weekly time commitment?
Expect roughly 8–12 hours per week across all tracks. The 5-week cohort is lighter; the 32-week programme has a more consistent workload. Each cohort page documents the expected hours so participants can plan accordingly.
What does "portfolio repository" mean at the end?
Over the course of the programme, participants complete project assignments. These are collected into a versioned code repository (e.g. on GitHub) that documents what they built. It's their own work, in their own account — Promptly just provides the structure and review.
How is pricing structured — are there payment plans?
The 5-week cohort is priced at RM 500, the 14-week track at RM 1,720, and the 32-week programme at RM 4,420. Payment details and scheduling options are discussed during enrolment. Contact us to ask about instalment arrangements for longer programmes.
Does Promptly offer employment placement after completion?
No. Promptly documents what participants complete through the programme. The programmes do not carry employment promises or placement services. Participants build a portfolio of real work that they can use independently in their job search or career decisions.
Is my progress and enrolment data kept private?
Yes. Enrolment data, assignment submissions, and contact information are stored securely and not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
